Kerri,

is a chewer too. He has ruined toys, clothing

and has chewed his fingers bloody. Some of the moms on

the list have bought dog toys, but that didn't work

for . Frozen food usually does the trick. Frozen

french fries, tater tots and perogies are very popular

with him. I'm still finding shirts with chewed

sleeves, though. I might cut the sleeves short, just

so he can get some wear out of them.

Mitchel was a chewer - big time. He'd chew on

everything - wood furniture, his clothing, his

blankets, his jackets, his pencils. We got him those

chewing things, that we made into necklaces so he

could chew on that. It seemed to work. And soon he

didn't want the necklace and didn't chew much. Now

it's back. He's chewed through all his erasers at

school, he's chewing on his clothes, etc again. All

the time! I made him a new chewwy necklace, he wears

it sometimes with eagerness, other times he doesn't

want it and leaves it somewhere in the house for me to

hunt for.

You can learn many things from children.

How much patience you have, for instance.
