Guest guest
I was in a similar situation, I wanted the free evaluation but the closest CT location was Toluca Lake and they charge $225. I called the San Diego location and they were extremely helpful, they sent me some info in the mail and answered A LOT of my questions over the phone. San Diego was also cheaper than Toluca Lake by several hundred dollars. In the end we chose Toluca Lake because we're 2 hours north of LA and driving to San Diego for adjustments would have been too tough on baby. We figure we would have spent extra money on gas traveling farther south and opted for convenience. I don't know if that helps you at all, but I thought I'd share. Tulip and baby Chris. 7months, plagio, getting Docband next week...yay! > > HI! So I emailed the DOC people about getting an evauation for my dd. (after getting no where w/ Kaiser) Anyway, they said the Eval was $225. And even after the eval they would need a drs script for the band. I thought I read on here that the evals were free, No? Where was that? Also, does anyone have any helpful tips on where to go to get an unbiased eval with a ped or specialist that wouldn't be so spendy? Do Childrens or Shriners hospitals have a sliding scale or anything. Does anyone know where I might find that kind of finacial help? I want so desparately for my dd to get help - with 4 other kids we just don't have the cash righ now - kwim? > If anyone can point me in the right direction that would be great! > > BTW - I'm out o town right now and on another puter so my siggie and stuff is different - But this is Jen and Luli! :-) > > THANKS!!! > > Jen >
