?? About Danmar Helmets -- New to Board

Hi. My name is Shanna, and my 8 month old has been in a Danmar helmet

since 12/20/05 for a mild case of plagio on his left side. He has

some facial asymmetry (sp?) which results in his ears being uneven and

bossing on the right side of his forehead. He also has mild metopic

ridging which his dr (plastic surgeon) feels is due to the plagio.

His metopic suture has begun closing but hte PS says that he does not

have cranio. We are watching the ridging just in case it gets worse.

This is my question. Has anyone else used the Danmar soft shell

helmet? If so, how long did your child have to wear it? How long

did it take before you noticed any changes? I have pics of his ct

scan, if anyone wants to see them.
