Guest guest
I was dx 10 years ago, my son turned 5 years old last Tuesday. It was a rocky pregnancy that put a lot of strain on my kidneys. Half way threw my pregnancy I signed the papers to have my tubes tied after my son was born. I saw a high risk doc from day one which turned out totaly in our favor because he spotted something fishy and after my amnio we found out my son has Down Syndrome. While I was in labor my BP got so out of control they almost did a c-section, 's heart rate was so weak and my body was stressed they thought I would have a stroke. I was 21 when they tied my tubes and 16 the first time I was told I should not have kids. I don't regret having my son but I regret the strain I shouldn't have put on my body. I never had a problem with my BP until I got pregnant, now 5 and half years later I am still on BP meds. My boyfriend just got home and he needs the computer as usual. BRANDY > Hi I have just been diagnosed with IGAN. I was devasted to learn that it will probably mean I will not be able to have children. I would like to hear from anyone that has had children with the disease. > > Sue > > > --------------------------------- > WIN FREE WORLDWIDE FLIGHTS - nominate a cafe in the Yahoo!
