My Update (ART ment)

Hey all,

I wanted to thank everyone for their support and positive thoughts

(especially the sweet notes of support around what would have been my due

date). (((HUGS))) going out to each of you!!

I had DIUI #1 today. My RE said that things appeared to be perfect (cp and

cm) and he was certainly in the position to see. Remember this time I did not

rely on OPK's but instead used the hcg shot and timed diui 36 hours later. I

don't know exactly how to feel about this cycle. It has been crazy from the

beginning. I had 3 days of + OPK's but u/s on cd 13 showed I hadn't O'ed yet

(how can this be?), my regular u/s lady wasn't there and the one who did my

u/s was a real bitch (sorry but she was). Then my Xytex (the cryobank we use)

didn't ship the " order " until yesterday at 4:00pm and so we weren't even sure

it would get there today. Than they called and left a message on my voice

mail that they needed my authorization before they would ship it, and this

was at 2:00 pm. If wouldn't have come home from work early I would

never have gotten the message and it wouldn't have been shipped. Then the

reason they were calling was to verify I wanted it shipped. AW MAN was I

really really angry, however after a few choice words they assured me it

would be there today, and thank goodness it was. I have intermittent pain in

the right and left ovary area (but the pain seems more concentrated on the

right side. I have had more pain in the right side this time. I am not sure

if it is O pain or just that I had many more follies (all smaller than 2cm

except one on that side and maybe that's why it is hurting more. I am not

sure at all about the timing as I had the 3 + OPK's and a lady I met in the

waiting room today told me hcg never made her O. Sooo, (boy am I rambling) I

am hanging in there hoping for the best nad so appreciating all the prayers.

They helped by the way, although the procedure was not pain free, it was much

much less painful than the times before. ANYWAY, I go back tomorrow at 11:00

for #2, then I am heading to my parent's house for the weekend. Hope everyone

has a good weekend and I'll be checking in from my mom's computer.
