Guest guest
Hey....I read most of the responses to your " question " about increases, etc.... Here is my thought (minus thyroid related) When we are estrogen dominant, it is like the big E is king of the mtn. (remember playing that game?) Anyway, here comes prog cream and she is strong and wants to share the mtn. So E being the ego that she is, thinks no one can throw her off.....so she allows prog cream to make you feel a bit better for awhile. Then E sees that prog cream is starting to take half the mtn and boom.....E becomes stronger in order to maintian dominance....and we feel like crap for awhile. Yet, P must continue to push and climb slowly to move E over. I know....stupid analysis. We want them to be balanced and not one or the other dominant. Estrogen is stored in our " fat " cells and in our intestines. So for some of us, there is alot of E around. Once they are balanced, there is really no problem, but in the meantime, it really is like E is fighting to stay in control. The progesteron receptors have been awakened. Do you remember me telling you that you may feel bad once the cream really started working? As for the dosing....I am premeno...40 still seeing aunt flo....but I dose 21 days on and 7 off. I think that is what Dr. Lee recommended in his book. I stop using the cream once my period starts and then I start back a week later. For the first three months on the cream, I did not take a break from the cream.....just to get things balanced. HTH...hang in there!
