Guest guest
I get gut reactions, along with brain fog, joint pain, skin issues (kp flares up, detox sores pop up, eczema, blistery rash than may or may not be DH), and I have horrid sleep difficulties. I have fibro and CFIDS. It's possible that the symptoms from those came about from CD. No way to know, other than time and a GF diet. Since going GF, my neuropathy and neuralgia have eased considerably, so I'm considering those to be related to CD. I also have an anaphylactic wheat allergy, but *that* reaction is pretty obvious. ygg
Guest guest
I thought I would jump in here and say that although I was recently DX'd I have learned I have osteoporosis from it and the recent bone density test showed a 17% BONE LOSS in my spine. And for the record I had a bone density test less then 18 months ago and no osteoporosis was noted at that time :-( I had been scoped and no celiac noted 18 months ago. How fast things change. My doctors say that I am too young (51) for so much bone loss..................so i am very alarmed. Guest guest
FYI- You are tired when you start a GF diet because your body needs time to heal, and goes into that mode. Everytime you go back to gluten you set off your immune system again and then the healing will have to start all over. Sure, gluten reactions can cause tiredness too, but staying GF will solve the problem in the long run (assuming Celiac is the only problem).
