Guest guest
-You could call and asked to be put on the cancellation list. Also 8 months is definitely not to old. My daughter wore her band from age 9 to 12 months with wonderful results. She has pictures under STARband and Jenna. Many babies older than a year have been banded and received wonderful results. Have you checked out the before and after pictures? Guest guest
Welcome, I agree with Angie, the cancellation list is a great thing. Like Angie also said we have many many babies here that have recieved great correction at this age and older, so don't despair. Please keep us posted on when you get in to see the second opinion doctor. Guest guest
I don't think 8 months is too old to see correction. There are people who have banded their babies when they were older than that. I think that is just wrong for people to be making rude comments about your son having a flat head. If you feel he would benefit from a band then if I were you I would try to get a second opinion. Guest guest
Our ped told us not to worry about it too. He finally reffered us to the speicalist and then he was diagnosed as moderate to severe. He got his doc band (helmet) when he was 14 months old and we are so glad we did it. I would definitly mention to the doctor that people are commenting on it. You didn't wait to long before starting treatment but the sooner the better. Haylee mom to andre doc band grad > > My baby boy, Sal, has had a flat head since about 4 months old or > before.
