Guest guest
Hello Kai, Welcome to the group! Your little ones look so precious in their bands, thank you for sharing their photos!! Have you seen any correction yet in the month or so that they have been wearing them? I hope they are getting some good rounding. Yes, we do have other group members with twins, so hopefully they will see " twins " in the subject line and reply with a hello. Best of luck to you with your appeal. Have you already visited the Files/Insurance help part of this group site? There are a ton of sample letters, etc. to help you craft various appeals, if you think that might assist you. Would you keep us posted on how your appeal is going? Take care, Christie (Mom to Repo'd Remy) > > Hi! Everyone, > > I'm new to the group. I have twin boys with plagiocephaly. Guest guest
Hi Kai welcome to the group.Sorry I haven't replied sooner but have been busy this week with my twins bands. I have twin 1 year old twin boys who got starbands on Feb 16, 06. I haven't got to post any pictures yet b/c I just found the USB cable for the camera. The boys had got a hold of it and decided to hide it. Good luck with your appeal. Thankfully my husband is in the Air Force and after being turned down by tricare and by the state of CA Air Force Aid gave us a grant to cover our helmets. has severe right plagio and Vedder's head was completely flat in the back. They both just got mesured on this past thursday. Both are makeing good progress. I am happy so far in what I see. Good luck with your insurance battle and let me know if you have any questions. Guest guest
Hi there. Welcome to the group. I have 19 month old b/g twins Andre and Lesly. Andre has plagio and torticollis. He just recently graduated from his doc band and he is lookin good. Lesly's head is fine and is kind off like a helmet all on it's own. When they bump heads andre always looses. She takes after her dad. I can't imagine two babies in bands. You are an amazing mom. Keep us posted. Guest guest
Dear Sunshinyday01: Please check out plagiocephaly.org and look under the Front Page "News Alerts" to review where I am at with the Florida Legislation that I plan to take to the U.S. Congress. I need help now from parents, physicians, all orthotic banding companies around the country. If I can get this legislation to pass in Florida, I have a platform to get federal legislation that will mandate coverage in all 50 state as well as all military families health plans. My contact information is listed in the information on Dr. 's website at plagiocephaly.org or just Google "'s Law". I hope that all is going well with your twin boys and the information that I provided help in some small way. Sincerely, A.
