I can't BELIEVE I forgot to tell this! Last night after dinner and I sat down to fill out his electives sheet. For the rest of the winter, the primary kids will have one afternoon a week at their choice of off-campus activity. There were choices for indoor playgrounds, skiing, skating, bowling, ceramics, hockey... the first thing he chose was the indoor playground. I agreed wholeheartedly. I wrote it down. His choice for the first alternate was ceramics. When I told him what it was he yelled, " PAINTING? I LOVE TO PAINT! " I wrote it down. His choice for the second alternate was bowling. " Bowling is really loud and noisy, " I warned, pen hovering above paper. " I don't cover my ears all the time anymore, Mom. BOWLING. Write it down! " I wrote it down. Well, holy shit!!!! Isn't that amazing???? What self-knowledge! I'm stunned! Jacquie
