Guest guest
hi everyone, it has been 2-1/2 yrs of chelation, but i brought my mercury level down from 30 to 1.5, and lead down from 19 to 5. i was still experiencing major cns problems and weakness up until a few months ago, when i was diagnosed with parkinsons. i have since been on medication and have improved, physically, mentally and emotionally. of course, the neurologist doesnt totally believe that the parkinsons was caused by the mercury, or that the improper amalgam removal (which was 2 wks prior to start of symptoms) and history of broken thermometer exposure caused my mercury toxicity. he asked me if the broken thermometers punctured my skin!, and did not acknowledge mercury vapors. but at least he diagnosed the parkinsons, which my primary holistic md didnt. if i hadnt insisted on seeing the neurologist, i would still be fooling around with adrenals and thyroid. i also wanted to mention something that people may find interesting. at the time i was most toxic, when is would lean over a hot oven, my hair would singe. as i chelated, and brought my levels down, this stopped. scary........... dawn h. (i noticed there is now another dawn)
Guest guest
tk-- i did a 2 heavy metals urine tests 3 months apart with doctors data, and another lab. both were the same. Re: finished chelating > > hi everyone, > it has been 2-1/2 yrs of chelation, but i brought my mercury level > down from 30 to 1.5, and lead down from 19 to 5. TK--- how did you test this ? Also are you sure you are done chelating - have you done a second trial of chelation to make sure you were done - stopping for several months and starting again ? Often levels will test low only because you are a poor excreter and not because levels are actually low. i was still > experiencing major cns problems and weakness up until a few months > ago, when i was diagnosed with parkinsons. i have since been on > medication and have improved, physically, mentally and emotionally. --- good > > of course, the neurologist doesnt totally believe that the parkinsons > was caused by the mercury, or that the improper amalgam removal (which > was 2 wks prior to start of symptoms) and history of broken > thermometer exposure caused my mercury toxicity. he asked me if the > broken thermometers punctured my skin!, and did not acknowledge > mercury vapors. but at least he diagnosed the parkinsons, which my > primary holistic md didnt. if i hadnt insisted on seeing the > neurologist, i would still be fooling around with adrenals and thyroid. > > i also wanted to mention something that people may find interesting. > at the time i was most toxic, when is would lean over a hot oven, my > hair would singe. as i chelated, and brought my levels down, this > stopped. scary........... > > dawn h. Guest guest
hi linda- initially i did it incorrectly, and got sicker. i was given 500 mg of dmsa every other day. i did this for a few wks. then i got smart, got andys book, and did dmsa 25 mg every 4 hrs- 3 days on, 4 days off. i did this for about 6 months. then i added ala 12.5 mg and went to every 3 hrs. i did that for another 4 or 5 months. then i increased the dmsa to 50 mg. after a few months, i increased the ala to 25 mg. and stayed at that dose. dawn h. Re: finished chelating Dawn, Please tell us how you have been chelating for 2 1/2 years - dose, timing, which chelators, did you start at low doses and increase with time, if so what doses did you start with an what doses did you finish with.
