Guest guest
Hello All, I took my baby for his first 2 week check-in today and things are progressing well already. He also seems to have finally settled into the band (if you recall, early on, he was screaming at me to free him of his new contraption). Just wanted to spread some positivity to anyone reading who may have doubts as to whether to band or not. Mama to twins, Elias (banded 3/17/06) and Mia (amazingly round little head)

Guest guest
YAH ! I'm so happy to hear this. Some babies just take longer to adjust. :-) Keep us posted on his progress. --- In Plagiocephaly , " jenniferljb " <jenniferljb@...> wrote: > > Hello All, > > I took my baby for his first 2 week check-in today and things are > progressing well already. Guest guest
Jami,That's fantastic news! It's great to hear stories like yours. Especially reassuring for concerned parents of babies who are banded closer to one year of age. Congrats on the progress!-AmyFrom: Angie P <apope04@...>Plagiocephaly Sent: Sat, June 12, 2010 4:28:31 PMSubject: Re: Progress That is great!!! Thanks for sharing your wonderful update. Angie Progress I just wanted to share my son's progress. He got his helmet last Wednesday, June 2. We're using Hanger in NYC so he had the transition time so he's only been wearing it full time for a few days. He started at 8.5 months and had 10mm of asymmetry. Yesterday he went for his first follow up appt and already had 3mm of correction and is now down to 7mm. Our orthotist would like 4mm so I'm very optimistic. His correction is very noticeable - at his age I wasn't expecting such a drastic improvement in such a short time. I really hope it continues like this!JamiSent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry
