Guest guest
Hi Michele, No he's not walking yet. He's cruising along the furniture all the time though. I think I remember him getting kind of grumpy and whiny before he started crawling. I did read somewhere that it could be a new milestone he's ready to reach. I hope that's what it is and that he reaches it soon - lol. Thanks, Re: Where did my sweet baby go? Maybe he's about to hit a new developmental milestone. They usually get like that then :-) Is he walking yet? Michele Hi everyone,I've been feeling a little overwhelmed with this new attitude thathas taken over my precious son's body. He's been so difficult to live with the past week. He's normally a happy and docile (talkative but sweet) baby. Never had any problems going to bed. He loved going to bed. Would go awake and fall asleep on his own. He would get uponce in the night to nurse but since he turned one - he's whiny andspazzy. He starts to cry as soon as we go into his room and when I lay him down he gets right back up and starts screaming. I go into him and tell him it's ok and that he has to go to sleep. He was up 8 times last night whining and not wanting to go back to bed. I'm not usedto this behaviour. Does anyone have any ideas about what's going onwith him. He doesn't seem to be in any pain and i don't see any new teeth coming. I did get my first period last week - this couldn't possibly have anything to do with it???Anyways, HELP ME!! I starting to feel sleep deprived again.Give the Gift of Life Breastfeed!http://www.lactivist.com
Guest guest
, Sorry I can't help you at all. Actually I have been having a similar problem. My Ds is 8 months old and he has started having tantrums when being put in the car seat, and high chair. Everytime I have to belt him in. He straightens his body out and starts screaming. He co-sleeps so sleeping is not a problem. If he wakes up and I don't he just crawls up to num num and latches on. LOL I have been feeling quite burnt out myself lately. I can truly sympathize. Guest guest
Oh goodness!!! It can't be a new milestone for DS. He is only 8 months old. I do not want him to walk this young! He already is truly very much a klutz because he is to young to be moving the way he is. He falls down all the time and bumps his head. He has no self control and absolutely does not sense danger at all. I believe it is because he is just to young for all this. I want him not to walk until he is 15 months or older! He did do this at 5 months old too I remember. Ohhhh everybody wish me luck. If he starts walking I am in trouble! Laurie Re: Where did my sweet baby go? Guest guest
, I had this same problem a couple of weeks ago. My sweet little boy all of a sudden turned into a little tyrant - screaming at bedtime and waking up 3-4 times a night and screaming when I put him back down. But the one thing I noticed was when he did wake up at night - he sincerely seemed hungry so I was hoping it was just a growing spurt - so I said I would wait 3-5 days and see what happened, and magically enough on the 4th night things went back to normal again...so I chalked it up to just a growing spurt. BTW he was right around 4 months old when it happened. How long has your wee one been in the " new " mood?
