Hi Jack's mom,

I'm sorry to hear Jack is having a tough time right now. It does get

better. Be sure you dress him lightly for bed as they tend to get too

warm during the adjsutment period. This can cause them to wake up alot.

There is a file here on " Helping Baby Adjust To The Band " that may help

you too. It can take some babies a bit longer to find thier comfortable

position. Just so you know, most babies adopt a tummy position for

sleeping when they get a band, so if he is more comfy on his tummy, let

him go. Let us know how things go.

Hi,

I'm positive you'll have more questions ;-) we all did in the

beginning of our plagio journeys. It's what we're here for!

My son has actually graduated already, but he adjusted to his bands

within a week of having them. The hardest part for me was letting him

get himself comfortable instead of me trying to do it for him. We

also bought a twin size memory foam mattress pad and cut it to fit

his crib and he has had it ever since. If you do that just be sure to

cut it slightly bigger than the crib mattress so there is no space

around the edges. Let me know how it goes.

Hey Jack's mom,Dominick turned 5 months old the day he got his first Doc Band. He went on to wear two more bands because of his severity and the fact that he was inutero. You can read all about our plagio journey on his website My Banded Baby . I have all his photo studies and progress pictures on there too. I am glad that he was up only once last night. I know it so scary sometimes, but soon you will be much more comfortable with all of this.
