Guest guest
Betty:I am so glad that your son doesn't have craniosynostosis! When you had said that he had been like this since he was born, that sent off a minor alarm, which is why I asked if he was getting a CT scan. Good luck during your treatment!Kind Regards. Guest guest
Betty: Yes, I did get a chance to see the pictures. Had a little trouble getting the last two -- but finally was able to get the one of him looking to the right. That one really does show the problem. Got the last one too. He looks so sweet sleeping. As I said in my little bio before, my son, Quinn, was born with a very long and narrow headshape. You can see before and directly after pictures here http://www.cappskids.org/CAPPSPlagioKidQuinn.htm just scroll down a little to see his pix. He just turned 6, and is doing fine. Molding therapy can do wonders. Really! All I wanted was a slight slope (his head jutted straight back) -- and we got it (something that would not have happened without molding therapy). I know you must be going through a rough time, but take a deep breath. Before you know it, this will all be over! Take care. -----Original Message-----From: Plagiocephaly [mailto:Plagiocephaly ]On Behalf Of ph & Betty BrownSent: Tuesday, January 17, 2006 8:08 PMPlagiocephaly Subject: Re: our journey begins Thanks, I was really worried about that too. Guest guest
Betty, I am so glad you are able to proceed with the banding treatment and not surgery. I looked at Jonas's pics and see the scaphy headshape. The bands/helmets are really working well with the sticky suture problems, so I'm sure you will be seeing progress once that band gets on. Keep us updated on how things go. Good Luck. CAROLG --- In Plagiocephaly , " betty_1623 " <res20eh3@v...> wrote: > > Well here we go.
