Hi ! Cece's photos look great! When you say she had cva 6mm do

you mean before the band? Do you know her numbers now? I think we've

made our decision not to band but I'm just gathering all the info I

can. Also, when the orthotist measured him he took the diagonals from

the points on the forehead to the points on the back occipital, which I

think is actually TRANS cva. Regular CVA, if I'm correct, is supposed

to be taken from the points on the forehead to the opposite EU points.

The EU points are the widest points on either side of the top of the

head, not the prominent/flat ones on the back. If this is the case we

may not all be comparing apples to apples when comparing our numbers.

Any thoughts?

Kerry,

Her PT wrote the info on the back of her " diploma. " Maybe she got

it wrong as I tend to chat away while I'm there! Maybe I distracted

her.

She had 6mm of CVA before banding. At graduation she had 0mm. She

drew what she measured. It looks like it was from the nose (t) to

the ear (eu).

Her cranial vault short axis (fz to eu) was 10mm. It corrected to

0mm.

Her facial asymmetry (ex to t) went from 4mm to 0mm.

Her cranial vault long axis (no letters were given) went from 12mm

to 1mm.

OK, thanks. That makes sense to me now. I think Cece's number you

are calling cva 6 mm must have actually been the SN-T measurement

which my orthotist called cranial base assymetry and said it was to

measure ear assymetry. It is a line from the nose to the ear on both

sides. I think Noah's measurement is probably equivalent to Cece's

cva long axis number which you said was 12mm. Why can't they just

use plain language for goodness sake!! Wow, Cece recieved great

correction! Congratulations! Thanks for your help!

Kerry,

You are right. It is SN-T.

I think I need to take more synthroid because my brain is so darn

fried today. I better figure something out. I'm getting CPR

certified tonight. At this rate I will flunk for sure! They'll strip

me of my Girl Scout Leader title. Wait. Maybe that's not such a bad

idea :P

Thanks ,

This does help me compare along with her photos, which by the way

also remind me of Noah because of their similar " trim " shape! As I

said before, she looks wonderful. My brain can relate to your brain.

This 3rd kid is causing brain cell loss daily! Good luck at girl

scouts!
