My son is 16 months old and had 2 bad starbands and now has a doc

band. Things are going really well and we are seeing great

correction. My question is how can you tell that the band has been

out grown. I am wondering if my son is going to need 2 bands. CT

says no because the sutures fuse at 18 months. I kinda doubt this

information because they told us that we shouldn't bother banding

after 12 months in the first place because it won't work. Well it has

worked. I want to make sure that we push for band 2 if it is really

needed or could help more.

Hazel I thought you might have some good information on this as you

are clearly in this situation. What did ct tell you guys about getting

a second band at 16 months? How did they determine that the last one

was no good anymore?

Thanks

Haylee
