Ok...so we finally got around to painting 's band and bought some

stickers from MIchael's. How do you get the stickers to stay on???

They are acid free stickers with clear backing. Are there other

stickers I should get because these come off too easy and kind of

wrinkle...Thought this would be easy!

We're doing an under construction theme too! I found clip art at Pccrafter.com and am going to print my own stickers from the computer onto sticker paper.

Blessings,

"MY BROTHER DID IT"

My DH and I laughed at this one!

My dd had a skull and crossbones with a bow on the back of her band - and it was dragonflies and flowers on the front. :-)

My son had a sticker on his band that said "Helmet Laws Suck!".

This is funny to us because he has two older brothers, and people are constantly asking us what happened to his head. Of course we explain (if asked!) that his brother didn't really put him in the helmet - but it's kind of fun to make people wonder. Okay, I have a sick sense of humor, I admit it! :) <lka_236@...> wrote:

I did a "what boys are made of" theme which I found at 's. It was really cute with bugs, scooters, balls, etc. Some other cute ones I saw were , Fire Engines, sports (of course!), tools, aquarium theme, playground theme, etc. There are a lot in the Me and My Big Idea brand. I also saw quite a few in the Sandylion brand. Good luck. Happy decorating!

I just ordered some stickers online from www.stickersgalore.com for Wyatt's helmet. I couldn't find much at our 's craft store.

We did a construction theme, across the front it says "under construction" and on the side there are stickers that say "hard hat area" and stickers with nails, screws, saws, measuring tapes, etc.

The other stickers I got were a dog theme, with pug stickers (we have a pug), dog bones, dog paws, and misc dog stickers with dog houses and sayings, and we got a police theme since my husband is a police officer, with police car stickers, traffic cones, radar guns, night sticks, and sayings...anyway just thought I would share those ideas since they are different than sports. Hey y'all. Here's an idea. If you have a craft store or WalMart with a craft section , look for that sticker maker thingie. I think the brand is Xylon or something. Several mention it is hard finding stickers for boys.. maybe with the sticker maker you could look for boys magazines or inexpensive picture books and make your own stickers!

Or look in the scrapbooking section of EBAY!

Re: decorating

The stickers still peel right off with the mod podge and any residue left behind comes right off with alcohol. Take a trip the craft store and you'll see TONS of stickers. I've always been jealous of all the cute flowers and such avaiable for little girls. All I can find for boys is sports... I put a chubby chick with a magnet on the back and wrote " chick

magnet " , flames on the side of his helmet and then his name on the

front. It's cute and people just laugh at it! It's helped break the

ice!

That is funny! :>) I've had several people ask if my son is okay...did he get hurt? The first time in a month I was at Sam's Club and I had four people ask what the band was for so I was able to educate.Jill Happel <jillhappel@...> wrote: Some of you might think this is offensive, so if you do, I apologize in advance - but the back of my son's STARband says "MY BROTHER DID IT" in some cute rub on decals that I found at the scrapbook store where we
