Why is it worse in the mirror?

I have been trying to figure this out. When I hold my son up to the

mirror his head looks 5 times worse than it does normally. I took

pictures to see if it would look like that, but it doesn't, it's only

in the mirror. Does anyone know why the mirror does that? Is his head

really that bad or is it a deception? It's so strange.
