Blood Types

Anytime I've seen this done in other groups. the distribution follows

the normal distribution patterns for the demographics of the greater

group. In other words, if the email list holds mostly North

Americans of Northern European descent, the blood patterns will

follow that general population's plot.

Anyhow, I'm ABneg. Doing my part to be different.

Well now you've got me intrigued...I am both O+ and was a veg for 10 years, vegan for about 3 of those years.

You're right. There is a slim possiblility that both of us inherited

AO, giving our kids OO, but there isn't anyone in the family with type

O blood, so I don't think the chances are very likely in our case.

Both my husband and I (both celiac) are A+. That means are three celiac

I am also O+. I have also seen this on celiac topic websites; it is a common question. We all have to know WHY we are celiac, right? Also, both my parents are type A+ (and we didn't have a postman . ) They are both negative for celiac, as is my sister, also an A+ blood type. Two As can make an O because O is recessive and apparently both my parents have the recessive gene. I have other recessive qualities too (green eyes for instance). Sometimes we are what we are, just because God made us that way!Also of note: I had a wonderful

meal at PF Changs this weekend with my hubby! It was the first time since diagnosis (almost a year) that I had chinese food, and it sure was yummy! Looking forward to going back there soon. Sonja

I'm A+, and I'm pretty sure my Dad is as well.

Personally, I suspect that there are more O's because

the majority of the population is O. Then next would

be A's, then a few B's and last AB's. From what I have

seen in the responses so far, the trend is the same as

the general population.

As far as the " Eat Right for your Blood type " thing,

I've never read it, but I fit into the A=veggie eater

thing. I've never been much of a meat eater, but my A+

Dad is the meat eater that doesn't eat many veggies,

so go figure.
