My dad is an avid Harley rider... I know that several of the local motorcycle shops in our area carry them - and other "biker helmet" stickers, as well! What a cute idea! Good luck! Send pictures when you find the right stickers! "Foley, Molly" <mafoley@...> wrote: Has anyone run across stickers that say "Helmet Laws Stink"? I found these doing a quick search, I think is what you're looking for. Good luck with the decorating and post some pics when you're done.

grrr, that link didn't work too well, sorry about that. Just click

on Sticker categories--> biker, and you'll see a few " helmet law "

stickers.

This is great! Exactly what I was looking for. I was searching the internet under Motorcycle Stickers, not Helmet Stickers. Thanks!

During the first few days that you have the band you typically follow a

break in schedule - Day 1, 1 hour on, 1 off, no naps or bedtime; Day 2, 2

hours on, 1 hour off, no naps, no bedtime; Day 3, 4 hours on, 1 hour off,

wear for naps and bedtime; etc. So, during those first couple of days

you'll have time to decorate and let the band dry over night since your son

won't be wearing the band at night. Hope this helps!

Band Decorating

Hello all,

I've got a question regarding band decorating. We will be getting

's band in 2 weeks, and we'd really like to paint it and add

stickers on top of the paint. Given the 23-hour requirement, how will

it be possible to paint it? I assume that it takes longer than one

hour to paint it and for it to dry...forgive me if this is a silly

question!

Thanks,

For us we had a break-in period. The 1st day Luli just played with it. WHen she wasn't I played with it and figured out how to deco it. We didn't need to paint it though so I can't help there. Ask your ortho if there will be a break-in period building up to the 23 hour.

Hi -

I had this same questions with our DOC band. I actually asked the Cranial

Tech specialist, as there is no breaking in period with the DOC bands. You

go straight to 23 hours of wearing. When I asked Angie, she sheepeshly said

" it's OK to have it off for 2-3 hours to decorate it - just try to do it

quickly " . We had an artist do ours and it took her 4 hours.

Good luck and have fun decorating it. It really makes a difference so I

would definately recommend it.
