Guest guest
Hi Cris, Thanks for the update. Charlie is well on his way. We've had some members get awesome treatment at MFB and we've had members get horrible treatment at MFB. It's going to be up to you to really stay on top of the situation. Follow your Mommy instinct, it's seldom if ever wrong. I hink all of us here at one point felt like our baby's plaigo was somehow our fault. You're not alone in your feelings. I'm glad you know this isn't your fault!!!!!!!! I hope you'll post pics of him in his newly painted and decorated band. Let us know when his band is in. > > Hello All! > > Just a quick follow up to my post from yesterday. > > Yes, I went to MFB in Grand Rapids, MI today and saw a > very nice physician, Rex Brown. Guest guest
(and others): How long will I take before I know the treatment is not working? Do I wait a month? Six weeks? Longer? And if the STAR Band is not successful in reshaping my son's head, who do I ask for the second RX for the DOC Band? My MOMMY Instinct is already screaming " GO WITH THE DOC BAND! " Should I call MFB tomorrow and cancel the helmet? Should I go to my pediatrician and request a RX for the DOC Band tomorrow? Why start with something that may or may not work when there is a proven therapy out there? Am I obsessing now? Don't know what to do... Guest guest
Cris, Great update. We had a quick chance to talk in chat last night, that was nice. Don't feel like the doc was blaming you, they just use all those words because that's what's in the medical descriptions. The very definition of positional plagiocephaly sounds accusing, lol. Anyway I am so glad you are on your way. Keep us updated. Guest guest
Don't worry too much if you do decide to put his name on. I was a bit paranoid about it too. Then I realized my daughter's too young to be called away by strangers. Of course it's totally up to you. We did put Liliana's name on both bands in clear colorful letters and most people still miss it. The best is when people ask what HIS name is! lol ~ > > > > Hello All! > > > > Just a quick follow up to my post from yesterday. > > > > Yes, I went to MFB in Grand Rapids, MI today and saw a > > very nice physician, Rex Brown.
