Guest guest
Kim, Wonderful news!!! I'm so happy to hear that repo has delivered results. That really is a testament to finding out about plagio when babies are still very young, since repo improvement can be quite dramatic in the younger babies. Thank you for sharing, and do keep in touch! I would love to hear updates on any further correction or changes Ethan might get since you are going to keep on with the repo. Take care, Christie (Mom to Repo'd Remy) > > Hey Everyone, > Ethan had his re-eval with the neuro today. Neuro agrees repo has paid > off and he see's no reason for a molding helmet. Guest guest
Yeahhh!! Congrats from one repo mom to another! We have had a small amount of correction due to Noah's age but he started off more minor the Ethan, so we think he looks great. We still have our appmt. Monday though to get him measured just to make sure we're ready to close the book on this thing. Did the doctor do any measurements on Ethan? I would love to see a new photo of him! Since he is so young you have many more months worth of correction ahead if you continue repo. I know how hard it is - isn't it great to be rewarded!! Guest guest
Kerry, The only measurement the neuro took was head circum and he stated that Ethan was on target with his age. He asked our opinion on how much of a change we felt that we have seen and we estimated about 40%. He didn't present himself as being concerned with Ethan's head and simply said he thought things looked fine. My husband and I were comitted to not making any decisions based on our visit with the neuro either way. If he had suggested a helmet we felt that WE had seen enough improvement that we were satisfied with the results and most likely would've not pursued it unless their were underlying medical conditions. I will try and update our pic on the website, however I think this is the hardest part (capturing a good/accurate photo - he is always moving). Good luck with Noah. It sounds soooo minor. Do you really even notice it? Kim > > > > Hey Everyone, > > Ethan had his re-eval with the neuro today. Neuro agrees repo has > paid > > off and he see's no reason for a molding helmet. Guest guest
Kim, yeah, I notice it and it seems I'm studing his head all day every day; but, that's just my personality. No one else notices and everyone even has a hard time seeing it once I point it out. Yes it is very minor and we are lucky for that! I'm so glad Ethan is seeing such good correction! Guest guest
Kerry, Yeah, I think we can easily become obsessed. None of our family really notices Ethan's head and assure us that we are doing the right thing. Go with your gut, but remember WE can be critical. Thanks again.
