Guest guest
I'm experimenting with lip balm recipes to find which one I like best. I made one with honey in it (our favorite so far!), but the honey separated out. I'm wondering if anyone has used Honey Sweet (powdered honey)? I tried to add it to my batch, but it clumped together and I took it out, then added the liquid honey. What's the proper procedure? Should I have added to pwd. honey to the beeswax and oils? Guest guest
Hi Ginny, I will not speak for everyone here, but I have finally given up on adding honey to lip balms: ALWAYS SEPARATES! So I took some advice from our *sweet new list mom* and just make my recipe without the honey, works slick! You can always sweeten with lip flavorings, or the candy flavorings. HTH?
