I had taken a picture of Teagan's head, and couldn't believe this very strange " dip " on top of her head, just behind her forehead. I brought the picture to her next appt. (we fly in, so weren't able to go right away), and they did a new photostudy. We had called in advance, and they had alleviated some of my concerns, and scheduled the photostudy. Spent a long time feeling her head, her head mold, and the indentation. It almost sort of seems like a sunken soft spot. Made it look like the back of her head was rising. Of course, I freaked out a little bit. Anyhow, the photostudy came back great, and we really didn't see the change in the top of her head. She always had a little indentation there - even in the original photostudy. We had just caught a picture at a funny angle. As far as the eyes go, they shaved close to a half inch off the front when she first got her band. They took some off the first day, then we went back the next day and they took a little more. The next week, when we went for her adjustment, they took some more off. As she's grown, the band seems to tip forward, so it sits very close to her eyebrows, which are very close to her eyes. She never needs sunglasses! Teagan has also had her band for 1 month. At the last appt. they reminded us that as the head rounds, the holding points change, and we see much more " movement " and rotation in the band. I definitely can't speak in regards to your band. However, if you are uncomfortable, I would trust your instincts. But I would also trust CT to do the right thing - I've never had one single inclination that they won't. Based on my recent experience, I would also not panic about the spot on top of her head. It sounds an awful lot like what I just saw with Teagan. Clearly, she's growing, and that's a great thing! And I've read several times on this board that the growth comes out in all kinds of strange ways! Good luck!
