Guest guest
Hi , Thanks for your good wishes! I studied Japanese in college for 4 years, lived there for 3, and have been home in the States for almost 3. I am still nowhere near fluent, but I can get by - even if sometimes in round-about way. It is not as hard as it looks, but obviously takes time for proficiency. I've been doing some translating for the new job, and it has been taking me forever--I know I can't charge them for all of those hours, so I really have to start studying again! If you get a chance to go to Japan, do it! It is amazingly beautiful. I fell in love with the culture, too, but not everyone does. Thanks again for the good wishes, and I agree that less stress can't be a bad thing in ttc. Thanks again! Maggie

Guest guest
Magggie I hope the new job is going well> Thanks for your good wishes! Dh has been to Japan when he was younger but not recently. I think it is ashame his mom didn't teach him when he was young. It would of been alot easier I am sure. (but I guess when she came here, she was busy learning English and the American ways) His family that is over there sends vidoes and it looks so nice. We definitely will go but need to learn some Japanese. Hope you are doing ok. I studied Japanese in > college for 4 years, > lived there for 3, and have been home in the States > for almost 3.
