Guest guest
Just a quick intro. My first son Colin had a CranioCap for severe plagio between ages 5 and 9 months. Should have had a 2nd band but didn't but that's another story. Now we have a 14 week old who was developing plagio despite our constant vigilance (I do believe that theory that " softer heads " might be genetic). I was repo-ing and now he's developing brachy. I just sent off an email to tandem orthotics in st cloud to get the answer to my questions about at what age they prefer to band, how long insurance processing takes etc. I'm pretty sure we're going to go with a band for . I thought repo would work but it's obviously not if he's developing brachy and since I've been through this before I know it's not a fun experience but I've got a lot less stigma about it this time around. I'm going down the " life will be easier if I don't have to obsess about how he's laying in his carseat, sleeping in his crib etc " road. Just thougth I'd say hi and officially join the group now that I'm pretty sure I'm going to be putting my 2nd son in a band/helmet in the next month or two.
