DMSA and flu like symptoms

Hello, someone I know is starting DMSA. They are using a small dose,

and are experiencing flu symptoms. I'm being asked if this is normal

and I assume it is and part of a possible detox reaction, but would

like to ask others if this is really normal and do any of you get this?

I do not really experience that myself, so not sure what to tell

them.
