The pain I felt on the 'good side' (luteal cyst) felt like intense

ovulation. Generally achy, sharper if I plopped into a chair or bounced

around. Much different from the ep.

I my bad side always hurts when O'ing - regardless of which side I O out of

now. Some cycles worse than others. I'm glad that I noticed it now (when

there is no poss. of pg) so that if I ever do become pg I won't freak out

about it.

Incidentally, I am prone to ovarian cysts - the kind that form for

ovulation, but then fail to rupture and release the egg. When this happens,

my cycles have the following curiosities:

1) Three or more days of +OPK.

2) Bad ovulation-like pain from about 1 week before expected O, to the end

of the cycle.

3) No temp rise for an extra day or two after expected O, then only staying

elevated for less than a week.

The good news is that they resolve on their own for me, and have been little

more than an annoyance. One cyst was over 8cm. They thought it was my

bladder on the ultrasound! Anyway there were some similarities between this

and some other cycles being discussed recently (AmyR?), so I thought I'd

share.

I kinda thought there shouldn't be anything to worry about,

>but you know how sometimes our brains work overtime even tho they don't get

>paid for it!

I know what you mean. I think almost everyone here has been thrown into a

state of hyper-awareness of everything going on in their abdomen. Then I

hear stories of women who didn't know they were pg for 6 months and think

'how in the world...?'

Take care!

Becca
