Guest guest
Uhg! I failed. I need to vent to somebody. I feel so bad. The young Mother (15) is not breastfeeding her baby. She delivered on Monday eve and by late that night she had decided not to because it hurt. She said the contractions while she nursed were too bad. I spent some time with her today and don't feel that I convinced her to give it another try. She said a few time, " That's ok, I'll just feed her formula. She'll be fine " . It breaks my heart. It was a sad day today. Melody
Guest guest
Melody, I am so sorry to hear that. I really thought we had a chance. I know I hated those contractions too, and I was glad they only lasted a few days. Keep the book. Maybe you can give it to someone else. Guest guest
With my third the contractions were worse than those during labor but I knew that they were getting my uterus back into shape faster. That still has to happen but without oxytocin it just takes longer. Guest guest
That story was beautiful. I wish all moms would write about their experiences so that their children can read them as they get older and realize that we did do what we thought was best. Jenn -----Original Message----- From: Lynn Glessner << File: teenmom.txt >>. I saved this article, written by a teen mom who tried bf (and decided to keep at it) but then couldn't remember who I was saving it for. If you think you may deal with teen moms in the future, this may be helpful?
