Thanks Jody!

As always, I really appreciate your input. Who knows? Maybe Joe will be one

of the RAI success stories?! I hope so. Don't worry, I'm watching him like

a hawk. He thinks I only ask him every day twice a day (at least!) how he's

feeling because I'm just asking -- but I'm really monitoring for hypo

symptoms!

Oh! And the books arrived today! Yay! Hopefully he'll read them too!

Ann :)

Hi Ann,

If his FT4 fell this quickly after RAI and they aren't seeing him for

another 8 weeks...keep those hypo symptoms handy and watch Joe, then call

for labs. His graves may have been very mild and he may descend into hypo

hell very quickly.

I had the same experience you did today, hubby had a doc appointment, and

the doctor didn't want to deal with me...hubby told him to talk to me about

everything because I would understand what was going on and tell him in

terms he could understand LOL!

Hang in there Ann, and watch him. I do hope Joe does well, 10 mcg is

a pretty low dose from others I have seen...maybe he will just make it to

euthyroid....but don't count on it. The thyroid will continue to die up to

a year and maybe longer after RAI.

I totally agree with ! We all know the kind of brain fog/memory

problems we experience with Graves. I wish I had had someone to go with me

on my early doctors visits as perhaps I would have retained more of the info

at the time.
