Guest guest
Hi there! My daughter is just getting over a nasty bout of pneumonia. She is doing much better now. During the worst of it, she could hardly breath and was of course miserable. We were forced to prop her up to sleep and this caused her band to dig intoe her head and make her even more miserable. needless to say, we took her band off for more or less 36 hours. I am sad to say we have noticed some regression, especially around the lower part of her head. She has been in her starband for just 3.5 weeks and we have been just thrilled with her progression. has anyone else experienced this? Her band has been back on 23 hours a day, but I worry we won't somehow won't make up the roundness we lost. Thanks! Krista - Alberta, Canada Mom to 10 month old nna(starband feb 2006)

Guest guest
Krista, Are you sure you're seeing regression already? She's kind of old to have regressed in such a short amount of time. Are you sure your eyes aren't playing tricks on you? That's happened to many of us here. Was your baby scanned? If so, you should take her in for a scan and she where she's at. Being out of her band for 3 days shouldn't change her over all correction. How is nna feeling now? I'm so sorry to hear she was so sick. Keep us posted. > > Hi there! > > My daughter is just getting over a nasty bout of pneumonia. She is > doing much better now. Guest guest
Stacey! Thanks for the reply .... I will double check her tonight. My husband noticed it too which is odd because he is not super observant when it comes to these things. Guest guest
Krista, Did nna have tort? Sometimes when they are sick the tort will come back out and it can cause things to be worse, but once feeling better for a while they start to go back to where they were before, if that makes sense, lol. I am sure that if you were seeing progress in just 3.5 weeks that she will more than make up for anything that has regressed. Guest guest
Thanks for your reply .... I took a close look tonight and I cannot be sure even how flat she was when she started. nna never did have tort. anyway, I will stop obsessing and just be patient for the rounding to continue.
