Guest guest
Hello to all, Just a ray of hope for you all who have banded babies with sleep troubles. My 5 mo. old son has been banded almost two weeks now and hasn't slept a week since the band was put on. He cried, tossed and turned, whined and grunted while lashing his head back and forth for the last almost two weeks. HOWEVER, last night, much to our surprise, he slept from 8pm until 7am STRAIGHT THROUGH without so much as a whimper! This is amazing because even before the band he woke for one bottle every night. It seems he found his "comfort zone" while sleeping in his band - on his tummy, butt up and head turned to the side! Do any of your banded babies find comfort in this position while sleeping as well? Anyway - hopefully it was not a fluke! Just wanted to offer a little sunshine to the days of you mommies and daddys of non-sleeping banded babies... Best, Mommy to Wes - 5 months old, DOCbanded for almost 2 weeks

Guest guest
Hi , Ah, yes...it is fantastic. My first child, almost 3 year old Audrey, has been an INCREDIBLE sleeper since day one. She slept through the night at 11 weeks and on!!! So, when Wes joined the family we were shocked that he didn't sleep at ALL!!! Hopefully this will stick. Yes, it is a precious position - that's funny that so many other banded babies enjoy that position - and stick to it!
