Lyndi,

Ok I am totally jealous of you....whaaahaa

I am glad that you finally received a good doctor though. we all deserve to

have that kind of a doctor. Just wish there were more like him to go around.

Sounds like a really nice doc at that.

I am on Zanaflex. The only bad thing for me is it knocks my A#$# for a

loop..lemme tell ya..lol It is what they call a " short lived

anti-inflammitory " , but yes it works well. I am not sure when he told you to

take that, but I take mine about 15 min. before I'm ready to go to bed and

that means 15 min. til I'm out cold...lol it only last's about 5 hours. The

only other side effect I have from it is dry mouth. I am thirsty CONSTANTLY,

but that is part of the other medications I am on too, but I have experienced

any bad side effects from the Zanaflex. It helps my crampy legs and twitching

in the night. Heck it makes me say stupid stuff in my sleep and sometimes I

do stupid stuff like sleep walk and stuff like that, but I have always been

like that since I was little...lol my boyfriend is all the time make'n fun of

me because of the stuff I say in the middle of the night. Well I wish you the

best..its about time you get things undercontrol. I am going to steal your

doctor for a week and then..you can have em back when you need him. I will

share...my momma did teach me how to do that :o)

His waiting list is quite long. But then, the waiting lists for most

specialists in Hoosier Hillybilly Heaving are quite long. The first opening he

had for my follow up appointment was near the end of January.

BTW - He did something else that was quite unusual. When I was leaving, he came

out and said " If you need anything before your next scheduled appointment, just

give me a call. "

I think he's an alien :-)

You're welcome a bunch.

I've been in Indiana for what seems like forever - even though it's only been a

year and a bit. I'm from the beautiful city of Saskatoon in the Province of

Saskatchewan.

I'm flying home on the 14th of November. Remember? LOL

Lyndi, I have been on Zoloft for years...started out at 25mg up 150mg

and now back down to 50mg. I think it is a great drug...keeps me

sane. I do take it at night about 2 hours before bed as it makes me

sleepy. Whatever you do...don't go cold turkey on it...I think a

couple of weeks on and then stopping will be okay but longer than

that and the withdrawals will kick your butt! Let me know if I can

help you w/ anything else.
