I am trying to increasing the level of patient care provided by my Campus Emergency Response Team. We currently provide BLS and I am trying to move to BLS/ALS. I have to do a presentation for the President's cabinet to sell the idea. I have several questions that I need to be able to answer to sell this idea. 1. Who did you get your malpractice insurance from and what kind of coverage? 2. Is your response group a registered first responder? 3. If you are a registered first responder group with TDSHS (Texas), have you been able to secure any local or state grants? If so what grant for what, training, equipment? 4. What level of care do you provide? BLS-ALS or a combination. 5. What is your campus population? 6. How many responses do you have a year? 7. Do you provide 24 hour responses? 8. Do you have student responders? 9. If not who does the EMS responses? If you help me with these questions it would be greatly appreciated, please email me off list at bstafford@....
