Guest guest
Hi Roxie, I did have Dr. Palter review my records over the summer when my dh and I had a phone consult. He also did not see negligence in my case. He thought the standard of care was followed and he also did not think my untreated infection was out of the ordinary. The hormone therapy is going fine. My mood has actually mellowed out and my dh has moved out of the basement with our son and 2 cats. (I'm just kidding for those new members! I kid to keep my sanity!) I started the progesterone on Monday and I think I started one day too soon. I need to call Dr. Valle's office to see if that's a problem of me ending the progesterone one day sooner than the estrogen. I could always not take my 30th day of estrogen. I'll check to be sure. Anyone here start a day too soon? Today is going a little better. Yesterday was not a good day. My husband has the flu and my 2-year old has another ear infection. (I think I may send them back to the basement...I don't want to get sick!!) It was a crazy day between getting my son to the doctor and running to the pharmacy, etc. So when I got that call from the attorney, I think it just pushed me over the edge. Thanks for thinking of me and I'll let you all know if my attorney has any updates tomorrow after he meets with the " opposing side's " attorney. Sara O.
