Guest guest
HI Sandy, I read that your daughter has brachio, my son Dylan had the same thing. His head was not bad when born, and I had him in the different chairs when he was young, so I beleive he ended up with positional brachio with some plagio ( he was flatter on the left than the right)...but anyways....repositioning was too hard for me...so we ended up getting the DOC band when he was around 6 mos old......and he graduated yesterday at 8 mos old.....the OT at CT said he did well, there is some more correction that can be made, but my husband and I were tired of all this and so we didnt go for a second band.....I just hope that was the right decison ( my husband gets mad when I mention it....he is happy...and says it cant be perfect)....so all in all, I beleive if I knew to turn his head at night, he might not have been in this situation too......he slept 10 hrs a night on his back since he was 8 weeks old....I didnt post his last pictures yet....but you can see his beginning pics and half way through under " my plagio kids " ....under Dylan ......Good Luck!
