Guest guest
Maureen - I had to pick my niece up at the airport last night so I spent the day in the Twin Cities shopping and eating. I don't do this very often so I'm sure it will work out OK. If you ever have a chance to eat at The Cheesecake Factory go for it. I ate at the one in Chicago and now they have one in Edina about 90 miles from my home. The portions are HUGE and could easily be shared. I have had the cheesecake before I was OP and it is awesome although now point friendly. 15 PTs per slice for the plain cheesecake. I am going to try to get the nutritional information on some other menu items. You can go to www.cheesecakefactory.com to take a look at their menu. Enjoy - Sherrie K
Guest guest
Yes, we are talking about the Cheesecake factory. I have no idea about the points of any of these, they just sound really good!!! If I ever get to go, I would have to guess the points the best I could. Maureen Re: Sherrie K's journal 7/29/02 - X? OMG!!! I just went to check out their menu and it all sounds sooooo good!!! I checked out their locations because I haven't seen one nearby and the closest one is about 30 minutes away, but near a big mall that we go to sometimes. Maybe I can talk Robin into going there next time we go to that mall. My only problem would be what to get.....maybe one of everything? LOL!!!! These sound pretty good: ASIAN VEGETABLE STIR-FRY Topped with Almonds. Served over Rice or Pan-Fried Noodles - Add Chicken TERIYAKI CHICKEN Chicken Breast Charbroiled with Teriyaki Sauce, Served with Steamed Rice ANGEL HAIR PASTA Tossed with Fresh Tomato, Garlic, Basil and Olive Oil SHRIMP WITH ANGEL HAIR Large Shrimp Sauteed with Herbs, Lemon and Garlic. Combined with Angel Hair Pasta, Fresh Tomato and Fresh Basil RENEE'S SPECIAL Half of a Freshly Roasted Turkey Sandwich, a Cup of Our Soup and a Small Green Salad or with a Small Caesar Salad HONEY-MAPLE PORK TENDERLOIN Slowly Roasted and Glazed. Served with Mashed Potatoes and Fresh Vegetables Maybe I could just get them all and bring them home and freeze for quick meals. What do you think? Would Robin go along with that one....Not a chance! Oh well, I guess if we go I would have to pick something. Maureen
Guest guest
, I am with you on this one their food is a killer unless you eat very little of it. Their portions are gigantic and even though it is really good it is a tough place for me with all that temptation. Just a little warning. Zephyr Re: Sherrie K's journal 7/29/02 - X? OMG!!! Guest guest
Thanks for the warning!!! I don't know if I will ever get there because it is so far away, but if I do I will be careful and plan on sharing a meal. Maureen Re: Sherrie K's journal 7/29/02 - X? OMG!!!
