Guest guest
I went in for my first consultation on Friday. It basically took 10 minutes and he approved the surgery and told me we could set a day for 4 or 5 months from now. I have lots of questions actually. How many consultations did you have with him prior to your surgery date for August? Are any molds/impressions/x-rays taken prior to surgery with exception to the ones your dentist takes pre-braces? Were you able to see a computer generated image of what you will look like after the surgery? This frightens me a little since I have no idea what the surgery will do to my face/nose etc. Were you able to look at photos of other patients? How long wil your hospital stay be? Your surgery will be the same? What are you having done with the top jaw? I will post some photos of myself later. Lots of questions sorry! I have been in and out of braces since I was 13 (28 now) and I have been trying to get this surgery done over half my life Thank you so much for responding. Answers to these questions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you again, -anne > > Is there anyone on the forum who has had surgery done through > > Kaiser?
