Confession asnd complaining-very long just venting

Ok. I confessed part of this in my response to

Donna. I have been eating unconmtrollably for the last at least 6 weeks I think. A big part of it is my job which is stressful by itself. I have had one day off since aug 22nd and that was last night(I took a comp day so it was not a scheduled day off). I have worked 5 or 6 double shifts in that time frame too. I am working it now for comp time instead of pay so when I am done I will have 15-18 days off I have to take between now and December 31 which is a good thing. Other things are not getting any better. Our First Sgt and got into an argumnet over the phone the other day(Thank Goodness I was not on the clock and was at home) I told him I was tired and was going to bed goodbye and hung up the phone without giving him a chance to say anything. I called him a few days later since that happened on a Friday and apologized if he had more to say and I had hung up on him. He thanked me for that and said he thought we need to talk after the Post inspection was over(that was yesterday). (At least he didn't fire me yet) I agreed, we do need to talk. I also called my union rep be cause there are at least 2 of us who are so stressed out we can't take much more and are talking about going to the doctor for some help.We do not want to file another grievance because look at where it got us, but she said they could try to set up a laber management meeting that would not be a grievance to try to work things out. The other girl said she had a fleeting (very fleeting)thought about running her car into a tree to mess up her leg so she couldn't work. Her doctor's appt for other problems with her leg is late Oct, but she was going to try to get there sooner. I have NOT had any thoughts like that.

My part time job where the person we are having so much trouble with is the supervisor well.............. Neither of us expected to be called to work again, but one of the other part timers told me our names and numbers are marked off the call list. he didin't even have the decency or nerve to tell us. Ever been fired and not told. LOL We did get a laugh out of that.

We also found out another one of our troopers has been activiated and will probably be going to Iraq. He has been married probably less than 6 months and has a child (approx 10 yrs) from a previous marriage so request prayers for him and his family.

Thanks Coco. In October the operator who is on vacation will be back, but we will still be short one operator. I am so far ahead of everyone on overtime worked so far it will be a while before they can "make me" work it. The operator who will be back from vacation and the other operator both plan on working more next month. They just didn't this month because one was on vacation and the schedule came out so late the other had already scheduled days she could work at her part-time job and shee would have had to cancel them. As for the 3rd operator we don't even want to go there. I plan on taking a break next month.
