WOW that;s amazing!!! That's so strange she would have him latched bad after

doing it for so long with her first. Just goes to show you this mothering

busness is full of suprises. :) I am sooo glad for her that it is going

better that would be soooo horrable to have such pain when your trying to

feed your baby!! Luckly I never had any pain trying to nurse . And I

hope I will experence the same with this one. (If she/he ever comes that is)

Any idea's on what I can do to start labor????????? I love being pregnant and

I am not trying to rush anything or anyone but I am worried that if I don't

have it he is goign to induce me HELP!!!!!!!!!!

Amy,

I would definitely say to breastfeed before feeding

the solids since the breastmilk/formula is to be their

main source of nutrition up to a year old. Any solids

they have before a year is mainly just for practice

and experimenting with tastes :o)

Blessings,

Mindy

Hey, you don't have to let them induce, if you really don't want to.

But I had a planned c-section and really wanted to at least go into labor

naturally, although I knew I was going to end up with a c-section, and it

didn't happen. Don't think there is any guaranteed, or even 90%, method.

Except for NOT wanting to go into labor at a particular time, that often

seems to do it....

Best of luck!

Stimulating nipples can onset Labor, also I have heard that sex, a warm bath

or lots of walking can help, I was doing all these things (except nipple

stimulation) the week my daughter was born, don't know if any of it had a

direct effect :0)

I've never gone late ( but I was induced once) so I can't relate there,

but I will say a prayer to St. Anne for her intercession on behalf of

your intentions.

Amy,

I was 11 days overdue with my son, he came on his own 4 days before the

inducement was scheduled. Have you tried lots of nipple stimulation and

exercise? I have heard that castor oil is not safe because it can stimulate

the baby to have a bm in utero, therefore he could swallow meconium and end

up with problems.

Good luck!
