Guest guest
Wow!!! I can't believe its 2006 already. It still feels like yesterday hen I learned that i was pregnant and now they just received their third New Year Celebration. As usual we went to my sister in law house to be with hubby's family but... At around 10:20 pm the twins were with my sister in law and myself in her room watching tv. started sort of going around in circles and kinda jumping in the bed so I tried to stop him. When he saw I was going to grab him he jumped out of the way and hit face first into the window sill getting a little cut in his left eyelid. Even though we thought it was no big deal we decided to take him to the hospital... just in case. Turns out he needed 3 stitches to close the cut so we received 2006 in the X-Ray waiting room. Nonetheless, and amazing enough, we were out of the hospital at 12:30 am so we returned to the party. He behaved wonderfully... of course, he cried but not as much as I thought he would. How does he looks today??? CUTE!!! His left eye is a bit swollen and sort of pinkish in the eyelid... unless you count the cut that is sort of purple. Hubby is worried that he might be left with a scar but Im hoping that it will be very small. Ignacio had a blast all night. While we took to the hospital, he stayed with my sister and was delighted when we returned to the party. They woke up today at 11:30 am and does not seem to remember anything at all. Well, even though we had an accidental finish to 2005 it was an OK year. I just hope that each and every member of this group, as well as their families, have a very happy new year 2006 andthat 2006 brings medical awareness to the seriousness of plagiocephaly and the understanding of the medical community and insurance companies that this is a medical condition that deserves proper treatment.
