Guest guest
How wonderful, Cammie, I couldn't be happier for you. Seems like only just 365 days ago that we were anxiously waiting to hear from you..... And no more check-ups! That, in itself is cause for celebration. I am pouring some cyber bubbly and making a toast to your good fortune. I know that the countless people on this board that you have helped through the years by sharing your generosity of spirit, humor and innate good sense join me in this. Guest guest
Well, I'm not exactly the gymnastically inclined sort... So instead, I'll send you a nice, big smile, and reach out a hand to yank you on over to this nice place beyond jaw worries. (I haven't, however, been totally released by the ortho -- still go to see him next April... Watch him slap me back into brackets and wires, the nemesis for all my hubris in celebration. And if any gods are listening... I'm only kidding, puh-leeze!) Best, Cammie > > May I do one little whoopee! post, with apologies to those who are > > still anxious and hurting? > > > > I saw my surgeon today, exactly one year after he advanced and > > sideways squiggled my lower jaw. > > > > He looked and answered all my questions, said everything's doing > > fine, he thinks, and told me I do not need to go back to see him > > again. > > > > He's a nice guy, and I like him, but I'll be just as happy if I > only > > encounter him in social situations from here on out! > > > > The day the splint came out was nice, and the day the braces came > off > > was nicer, but this one was a day for celebration, too. Guest guest
Cammie, Happy One Year Anniverary! That's great news! You are allowed to celebrate to your heart's content. You deserve it- you spend so much time offering advice, wisdom and encouragement to everyone on the boards. Congrats! molly Whoopee! May I do one little whoopee! post, with apologies to those who are still anxious and hurting? I saw my surgeon today, exactly one year after he advanced and sideways squiggled my lower jaw. He looked and answered all my questions, said everything's doing fine, he thinks, and told me I do not need to go back to see him again. He's a nice guy, and I like him, but I'll be just as happy if I only encounter him in social situations from here on out! The day the splint came out was nice, and the day the braces came off was nicer, but this one was a day for celebration, too. Just waiting for the rest of you to reach the same point. Meantime, celebrate with me! Cammie
