Oh gosh, my mom always said I could be a sneaky child, but I honestly

think it doesn't hurt to try for all of those reasons you listed. What

is the worst case scenario? That the clomid doesn't solve the

progesterone problem? If you can accept that as the risk, I would give

it a go while your tubes are clearer from the HSG.

Hi . I am not very familiar with the clomid test

cycle you are talking about. Is there a threat to you

or your pregnancy if you do ttc next month? If there

is no threat, then, hey, it is your body and you do

what you want. I say go for it if it is safe for you

and that is what you want to do. I had to be on birth

control for two months to regulate my cycle. I had

that dysfunctional uterus that wouldn't stop bleeding.

After my first month on bcp I was back to normal, but

they wanted me to do another month on bcp and then a

month off of bcp to make sure I ovulated on my own and

I had " dates. " I hated waiting- every moment of it.

But having the dates if I am pregnant again are

reassuring, since with me they had a hard time

deciding if I just wasn't as far along as I thought or

it was ectopic. Basically I am saying, consider all

of the pros and cons (which I know you are doing).

Again, I don't know much about the procedure you are

talking about, but hey, if there is no danger, then go

for it.

Oh, one last question: If you get pregnant and mc or

have an ep, how long will that delay your next attempt

at ttc again. I would hate for you to have to go

through anything like that again, but if you feel you

are ready, then go for it girl!!

I want you to know that I was not trying to be negative about you ttc

again. I just don't know much about the clomid and I don't want to

give bad advice. I just think that you know, it is your body. The

hardest thing for me was letting the doctor make decisions about my

body, and I wanted to let you know I know what you are going

through. Also, I want you to know that I am behind you no matter

what you decide. I'm excited to hear the good news about the clear

tubes.

Hey, I could be all logical and tell you to wait the test cycle out,

but I know if it was me I wouldn't be able to resist the temptation

of ttc, so I say...JUST DO IT GIRL! Besides, from the tone of your

list of reasons, it kind of sounds like you've already decided what

you are going to anyway..he..he :) AND, what is the dr going to do

to you if you do get pg in the test cycle anyway...smack your hands

and say bad girl!?! I think not! Good luck!!

As I read your reasons, I totally understood where you

are coming from. You have been waiting so long and

you just got the great news about your hsg and you

want to get started. I tend to agree with , I

think you should go for it. You are right, I have

heard after hsg and all your chances for pg are

better...Can you take the Clomid and still ttc now?

...What do you really FEEL you

WANT to do? Does dh have any feeling on dilemma? I

think, GO FOR IT!!!!!++++++++thoughts for you and your

big decision.

Hi ,

The clomid test is just basically going on clomid--just like many

other women here have--but not ttc. My progesterone level would be

checked to make sure it gets high enough to sustain a future

pregnancy. If it does, then I'd ttc the next month with the same

protocol. Clomid does not pose a risk to myself or a possible pg.

I'm figuring that there is the same risk of another ep next month as

there will the month after--so there's no additional risk of an ep by

ttc one month early.

If I " deviate " from his plan by ttc one month early, the only risk I

assume is that, if I do get pg and if the clomid doesn't make my

progesterone high enough, I will mc again. My first 3 mcs resolved

themselves very quicky--definitly unlike my ep. And, of course,

there's a good chance it won't work on our first try. Sooo, I'm

still thinking about it. I certainly don't want my dr to think I'm a

problem patient that doesn't listen to him.

Thanks so much for your thoughts--it helps!

Hey ,

Thanks so much for your input. I'm really thinking along the same

lines. I think it'll depend upon whether they mention that I can't

ttc another time. I can just play only so stupid, if you know what I

mean. If they don't mention it, I'm probably going to go for it.

Hi Dominique,

I do feel a bit like a sneaky child. I guess I have no patience at

all. You are right--the worst case scenario is that my progesterone

won't get high enough and I could possibly miscarry. I don't think

this will happen though. I think the clomid will do it's trick. And

if I don't get pg this cycle, it'll all fit right into his little

plan (I'll know what my progesterone is on clomid).

Thanks so much--I guess I have over a week to think this out.

Hey --

Don't worry sweetie--I didn't interpret your note that way at all. I

totally appreciate your opinion. My treatment and my miscarriage

issues are definitely out of the ordinary, and a little confusing.

You are right--it is so hard putting one's body in a dr's hands.
