My son got his helmet yesterday. He wore it twice and although we

could see that he didn't like it, he didn't cry a lot. Today it's a

different story. We tried it twice and both time he cried his eyes

out. At the end he was shaking, choking and gagging. Both myself and

my husband were crying with him. After 4-5 minutes we just took it

off. We are going to rty again after his nap, but won't leave it on if

he has the same reaction. My boy very rarely cries, only when he is

hurt. He didn't cry even when he was a newborn. Well, I didn't let

him. I am absolutely against letting kids cry it out, so it's not an

option for us. I don' know what to do.

What was your experience and how did you deal with the weaning period?

thanks,

valerie
