Texasems-l, with over 1,800 members has the largest subscribership of any of

the pure EMS Yahoo groups. There have been a couple of attempts to form

other Texas groups, but most have fallen by the wayside. One group that has

kind of hung in there it called TEXAS-EMS (address listed below). There are

lots of other groups, both Texas specific, national and international in

scope. I'll list a few for you to get you started. These are some of the

larger groups but there are dozens of others, including many that are not on

yahoo.

EMSEAT, the Texas educators group has recently revived their list.

My favorite national list is paramedicine, but be prepared to have the hide

stripped off if you post there.

My favorite international list is the Remote Medics list. This is mostly

British medics but some Americans do post.

There is the EMS research list. This is a fully moderated list, which

requires approval for subscription. The moderator is Jim , I

believe.

The Rural EMS group has about 175 members and is a very good forum.

EMS-L and EMED-L are interesting lists, but I got tired of the constant

bickering. If you are interested I'll try to find the subscribe-to
