There have been a couple of attempts to form other Texas groups, but most have fallen by the wayside. One group that has kind of hung in there it called TEXAS-EMS (address listed below). There are lots of other groups, both Texas specific, national and international in scope. I'll list a few for you to get you started. These are some of the larger groups but there are dozens of others, including many that are not on yahoo. Hope you find what you're looking for. This is mostly British medics but some Americans do post. http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RemoteSupportMedics/ There is the EMS research list. This is a fully moderated list, which requires approval for subscription. The moderator is Jim , I believe. http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/EMS_Research/ TEXAS-EMS, a Yahoo group with over 300 members. http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/TEXAS_EMS/ The Rural EMS group has about 175 members and is a very good forum. http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/Rural_EMS/ DSHS has a list for public announcements. http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/EMS-Trauma_Coordination_Office_Announce ments/ NAEMT has several lists to choose from http://www.naemt.org/ EMS-L and EMED-L are interesting lists, but I got tired of the constant bickering. If you are interested I'll try to find the subscribe-to addresses.
