We've seen some reaction to the foams if there are other skin problems. Make

sure the helmet is dried and use only rubbing alcohol to clean, the soaps stay

in the foam. Also some sun time for the helmet helps.

Good Luck

How pourous is the Starband foam? I know that we never used soap on

the Doc bands because the small residue that soap leaves in the foam

can build up and cause bacteria to grow and cause a bacterial rash.

Alcohol evaporates completely leaving no residue.Could this be the

problem?
