Guest guest
Questions, Questions….. In Ken’s latest blood tests, it was noted that he had “polychro” POS 1+ ……does this refer to polychromatic or polychromasia? Does it mean he is anemic? Also, in this same blood test his glucose level was 60 (normal at this lab is 75-110) he had eaten a peanut butter and jelly sandwich 1 hour before the test. The only reason I ask is because the blood test notes “result called to Rovlon transplant coordinator – results verified by verbal read-back”. Have no idea who Rovlon is, Ken’s coordinator’s name is Dana. On the other hand – Dana faxed the results to me, so surely she must have looked at it and would have called if something were amiss……but you know what they say about people who assume. Any ideas? Thank you for your help, Barb in Texas
