Guest guest
So Leah has been done with the DOCband for a week now. I have been having some issues as I kind of feel that maybe she isnt done? I dont know. CT said that if she were to come in now for a consultation she wouldnt be canidate for the band. Leahs asymmetry, mostly very prominent left cheek is very apparent lately. Seems more so since the band has been removed. I didnt go into treatment for perfection, so why am I feeling like this? I notice the cheek thing in every picture. When Leah is in front of a mirror her head looks sideways, the features look slanted? Hard to explain. In general her head isnt quite as flat (brachy) but definitely not round either. The stubborn left ear didnt move back, so is still pushed forward farther then the right. I just dont want her to think that I did this for nothing when she gets older. Maybe I am the one with the problem??? Any input would be greatly appreciated. feel free to e-mail if you would rather do that. Thanks,

Guest guest
, Is her tort resurfacing? Cece had her 12 mo checkup yesterday. She has been out of her band for 2 weeks too. The doctor said she thought Cece's head looked flatter than it did the last time she saw her (3 or 4 weeks ago). DH and I panicked during Sunday night's tub because we thought she had regressed. It looked pretty darn obvious to us. DH doesn't scrutizine these things so when he said " What happened? " I freaked! Anyhow her exit stuff keeps getting canceled. I am hoping we can get in tomorrow. The more I think about it I think it's her tort. It has come back with this latest growth spurt that helped her outgrow the band. When I stretch her it all looks a bit better. I don't really think she could have regresed this quickly at such an older age. Hopefully I'll get good news tomorrow. Luckily her face and ears are pretty symmetrical. The back looks flat, but I really am thinking it is because her head is tilted and her opposing shoulder is raised from the tort. I'm sure Leah won't think you did all this for nothing. The pictures you have posted have shown dramatic results! If you feel she needs another band you have the right to make that call. Guest guest
Lyndsay, It's awful isn't it that we analyze our poor little ones so much. I'm thinking her asymmetry is having more to do with the tort than the plagio. Remeber how bad it come back in times of stress and fever and she has just come through a terrible illness. Keep up with stretches and see what happens in a week or so. I hate that this damn tort can do this to all these beautiful little babies. Let me know what you think. Guest guest
, Just wanted to let you know that Cece's tort is what was making us think she regressed. She had her exit stuff and PT today. I could see a big difference just when she got CST. I wish the person who was doubting CST a couple weeks ago was there to see. Her worst meaurement went from 12 mm to 1mm so we are very happy. I bet just needs some good stretches too! > > , > Is her tort resurfacing? > Cece had her 12 mo checkup yesterday. She has been out of her band > for 2 weeks too.
