Guest guest
That's exactly what most of us are supposed to do. Use DMSA (or DMPS) on it's own for quite sometime (3 months or longer)after any exposure to mercury before even contemplating adding ALA (or using ALA on it's own). Unless your blood/body levels are lower, using ALA is probably one of the worst things you can do. I used it after I had a redistribution of mercury from a garlic supplement and it severely exacerbated the poisoning. So if you've had a recent exposure, or you've had a redistribution backfire from something (which is like being repoisoned), ALA should never be used until much later. Even DMSA can be tough enough, so many of us can only use 12.5 mg or lower to start, until enough mercury is gone to where high doses can be tolerated. Even if your friend becomes detoxed enough to start using ALA, using it that way (once a day or so) is as bad as using it too early on, or using too high a dose. It should only ever be used every 3 hours at very low doses at the appropriate time. .. > > Can you take just the DMSA by itself..every four hours ?? Anyone tried > this?? A freind wants to start with this as he has had negative affects > with ALA when he took it once a day.. Thanks... Body1million >
